Privacy Policy

This page describes only what this site actually does: what is collected, what it is used for, who processes it, what is not done, and how to ask for deletion. Anything not written here is a mechanism this site does not use.

What we collect

Only two kinds of information you leave yourself. First, the email address you leave when subscribing to the weekly or filling in a form on this site. Second, what you write in those forms, such as a correction note, a tip, the details given when requesting the AI Architecture First-Aid Kit, and the body of a letter. The calculators and self-check tools on this site process your input in your browser and do not send your answers back to us.

Separately, the site keeps anonymous counts only: how many quick checks are completed each month, how many clicks go out to primary sources or into the registers, how many subscriptions succeed, how many times the Formal Edition is downloaded, and on which page. The counts set no cookie, record no IP address and none of your self-check answers, and cannot be tied to a person; they exist only to tell which pages and tools are actually useful.

What we use it for

Your email address is used for three things only: sending DeepWing Weekly, replying to your letter, and delivering the AI Architecture First-Aid Kit you requested. Form contents are used only to handle the matter you submitted, such as checking a correction or following up a tip.

Who processes it

Forms on this site are submitted and relayed through Web3Forms, and weekly emails are delivered by Substack. Both services process the data you submit under their own privacy policies. Beyond these two, this site does not hand your email address or form contents to any other third party.

What we do not do

We do not sell email addresses, rent them out, or trade them with any third party. This site carries no advertising and runs no advertising tracking: no behavioural data is collected for advertising purposes, and your information is not used for off-site marketing.

Retention and deletion

A subscription address is kept until you unsubscribe: unsubscribing stops delivery at once, and you may also write in to have the address deleted entirely. Letters and form contents are kept only until the matter is handled, and you may ask for earlier deletion at any time. Send deletion requests to the contact email below; we will confirm once they are done.
